Adidas started with a progression of basketball sneakers in 1995 that has culminated into their most impressive basketball shoe till date in the TS Supernatural Creator. The Adidas TS Supernatural Creator is made to fit snugly and comfortably around the feet. Its midsole wrap tightly around the foot and put a stop to any loose movement in that area. A set of angle pads that are strategically placed to come around and behind the ankle bone ensures a no-slip fit especially when the strap and shroud are tightened. Thus, when laced relatively loose, these sneakers still wrap around the foot snugly and ensure effective mobility on the court.

Traction in the TS Supernatural Creator is enhanced by the introduction of clear Rubber pads that employ the wave-bone pattern. These pads may not last a long time though if used outdoors on a constant basis as the threads are quite shallow. The pads are made to bend and flex and they bounce your foot back into place due to the solid traction and torsion structure which improves the cushioning effect. Ventilation on these sneakers is not the best though and the shroud cuts out air from penetrating them. These sneakers live up to their name and you will not play basketball in anything else once you get them.

Nike - Cortez, Year of the Tiger

Nike celebrated the Chinese culture Year of the Tiger event with one of its classic footwear, that is the Cortez. The footwear had a nylon upper with white tiger stripes. It also had a heel tab, front toe box, eye-stay and Nike’s own swoosh. The Chinese character for tiger’’ was also embossed on it and the date of the Chinese new year - 2010.2.14.

The right shoe for the footwear had a red trim finish. As part of the launching process, a limited number of the shoes were manufactured and then given to selected stores/outlets to sell. This is one of the several promotional strategies used by Nike to further its interest.
